Collectors House
Built at the height of early-1990s design, the existing house had a strong architectural identity that we chose to work with rather than erase. Most notably, the original glass block was retained—embracing its ability to filter light while preserving something distinctive about the house’s character and history.
The renovation creates a quieter, more minimal backdrop for the clients’ extensive art collection and love of rich materials. Spaces were simplified and refined, allowing art, objects, texture and natural light to become the focus. The result is a home that feels both restrained and deeply personal—a setting for the collection, but equally for the life of a wonderful client.
